Classes in new media are requirements for students in the PhD program in the Department of History and Art History at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia. This portfolio assembles work begun in those classes and continued in GMU's Center for History and New Media.
Lee Ann Ghajar. I entered the George Mason PhD program in American History in 2004, minoring in new media and nineteenth century with research interests in southern history and culture. I work full-time with the National History Education Clearing House in the Center for History and New Media, a project set for public launch in March 2008.
